Forklit Certification is mandatory in the USA. OSHA requires that anyone that operates a forklift be safety trained and evaluated on the lift at the facility they will be working. Forklift University of California provides OSHA forklift training for all types of warehouse forklifts, aerial lifts, rough terrain (construction) forklifts, and other Powered Industrial Trucks like tuggers and burden carriers.
While we no longer offer hands on driver training at this facility, those that wish to attend a forklift driver training class can visit our locations in Las Vegas or Phoenix. This training will prepare a new driver to obtain an entry level job at a warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing facility.
Our training programs are un-matched and new students will learn not only classroom safety but will be taught to drive a sitdown lift safely and efficiently in a general forklift setting. These classes take about a day and when successfully completed the new operator will have a forklift license valid in the USA and accepted by staffing agencies, companies and unions.
Company trainings are done at YOUR facility and 100% OSHA compliant and can be on any type of PIT at your facility. We train on the OSHA guidelines, and also discuss and evauate the facility safety rules as required by OSHA. If you have new operators, we can provide hands on driver training and for those companies that wish to do their own operator training we have the most complete Train the Trainer program in the industry.
Train the Trainer is a single day class and is done at your facility. Trainers are provided with over 10 different videos, many equipment specific, as well as manuals, tests, and documentation that can be modified to add your company logo and site specific information providing 100% OSHA compliance. Trainers also have access to the trainer portal for 3 years where all updates and new material is available 24/7 thereby removing the limitations of other training programs and materials sold by other training companies.
